Yep! Your skin harbours "beneficial" bacteria that serve many purposes including preventing infection, acne, moisture loss, and protecting your barrier. 

Cleansing away "beneficial" bacteria and biofilms won't negatively affect your skin because you're also cleansing away the "bad" bacteria and biofilms - meaning they won't have a chance to proliferate and cause you problems associated with poor microbiome health like dryness, irritation, or redness.

Plus, "beneficial" and "neutral" bacteria are easily picked back up from your environment (e.g. the air and surfaces) and normal daily activities like touching your face and eating. 

Further, our products are slightly acidic (<5). This slight acidity promotes the perfect environment for your skin microbiome to thrive, promoting healthy barrier function and moisture production.

Some customers notice a slight "tingling" or "stinging" sensation when our products are applied to open or delicate skin. This is due to their slight acidity.

While your skin likes acid, when it gets in an open wound, you might notice tingling or stinging. It's completely normal to feel this sensation and it WILL NOT cause lasting irritation. It's actually a sign that our products are working as intended!

If you can't stand the sensation, rinse the area with lukewarm water and pat dry. Wait for it to heal over before applying Panaclear products there again.

Skin develops a "tolerance" to certain products because those products use a chemical process to target the 'weakest' bacteria, leaving the 'strongest' to survive and multiply.

Take benzoyl peroxide as an example: it kills 99.99% of bacteria on your skin. However, the remaining 0.01% consists of the toughest bacteria that can withstand the harsh chemical. Over time, these stronger bacteria multiply and become the dominant strain, making your acne resistant to the benzoyl peroxide.

Complexion Perfection Face Wash:

This should replace your current cleanser with active ingredients.

Use an almond sized amount 2x daily, morning and night. Massage over dry or damp skin and let it sit for at least two minutes.

Rinse off with water. Avoid eyes.

You can use it to help remove makeup. Double cleanse.

Flawless Finish Spot Treatment:

This should replace one of your anti-acne serums or current spot treatment.

Use a small amount applied directly to spots or blemishes as needed. Let it sit for 15 minutes then remove with a damp cloth.

Yup! You can use Panaclear with other active ingredients in your routine.

However, our products contain citric acid which is not recommended to be used in conjunction with retinols, retinoids, or benzoyl peroxide. While gentle on their own, our products can cause dryness, sensitivity or irritation when used in combo with these strong actives.

We also do not recommend using our products immediately before/after a high concentration of vitamin for the same reasons. If you want to use vitamin C alongside Panaclear, rinse your skin thoroughly after use and wait for your skin to dry completely before applying a vitamin C serum or moisturiser.
