The universal solvent - and arguably our most active ingredient! The process of hyperprotonation works in part by supercharging H2O molecules with an extra hydrogen ion, helping us break down the biofilm barrier.

  • Our face wash and spot treatment use the same core ingredients because they both use hyperprotonation to target the same problem of biofilm.

    The difference comes down to concentration and function:

    Our spot treatment is more concentrated and designed to target blemishes specifically.

    Our face wash is a gentler version of the same formula, ideal for daily use on all skin types including sensitive skin.

  • Panaclear products are formulated at a low pH to match your skin’s natural acidity and support a healthy skin barrier, so it’s best to avoid using them alongside high-pH or highly alkaline products, like traditional bar soaps, some foaming cleansers, or benzoyl peroxide that can disrupt that pH balance and potentially neutralise the effects of each other.

    We also recommend avoiding strong actives like high concentrations of salicylic acid, retinoids, or AHAs/BHAs at the same time, as they may increase your risk of irritation or interfere with how our formula interacts with your skin.

    We do not recommend you use our products if you have a citric acid allergy or sensitivity, or a sensitivity or allergy to any of our other ingredients.

  • While the ingredients in our products are generally considered to be safe for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, we strongly recommend consulting with a trusted physician before introducing our products into your routine.
